516. James⁸ Fillebrown Jr. (James⁷, John⁶, John⁵, John⁴, Thomas³, Humpfrey² Phillibrowne, Robert¹ ffilebrowne)⁽⁵⁹²³⁾ was born February 4, 1814.⁽⁵⁹²⁴⁾ James died June 30, 1873 at 59 years of age.⁽⁵⁹²⁵⁾

James married Elizabeth Pelham November 4, 1840.⁽⁵⁹²⁶⁾ (Additional notes for Elizabeth Pelham⁽⁵⁹²⁷⁾) When Elizabeth was age 26 and James Fillebrown Jr. was age 27 they became the parents of James Fillebrown November 9, 1841 in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.⁽⁵⁹²⁸⁾ When Elizabeth was age 28 and James Fillebrown Jr. was age 29 they became the parents of Charles Fillebrown August 10, 1843.⁽⁵⁹²⁹⁾ When Elizabeth was age 30 and James Fillebrown Jr. was age 31 they became the parents of Henry C. Fillebrown October 3, 1845.⁽⁵⁹³⁰⁾ When Elizabeth was age 33 and James Fillebrown Jr. was age 33 they became the parents of Elizabeth Pelham Fillebrown January 28, 1848.⁽⁵⁹³¹⁾

This is a bit of history.⁽⁵⁹³²⁾ On August 11, 2001 The author, Charles Jerry Fillebrown, received the following note from Denise Mary Pope. "Dear Jerry: About 25 years ago, in a rare bookstore in Glendale, California, I bought a leather-bound book I found quite charming. On the first page is written (in beautiful hand) in either black or brown ink 'James Fillebrown Jr., Boston, Mass' On the next page is written 'Miss Louisa Fillebrown, Boston 1834' and, beneath that: 'Miss Louisa Fillebrown's Album - Presented by her brother James' The entire book is handwritten by various hands and persons, and includes original poetry and articles such as 'Advice to Young Ladies.' (Remember this is 1834 here!)"

When James was age 27 and Elizabeth Pelham was age 26 they became the parents of James Fillebrown November 9, 1841 in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.⁽⁵⁹³³⁾ When James was age 29 and Elizabeth Pelham was age 28 they became the parents of Charles Fillebrown August 10, 1843.⁽⁵⁹³⁴⁾ When James was age 31 and Elizabeth Pelham was age 30 they became the parents of Henry C. Fillebrown October 3, 1845.⁽⁵⁹³⁵⁾ When James was age 33 and Elizabeth Pelham was age 33 they became the parents of Elizabeth Pelham Fillebrown January 28, 1848.⁽⁵⁹³⁶⁾

James Fillebrown Jr. and Elizabeth Pelham had the following children:

922 i. James⁹ Fillebrown⁽⁵⁹³⁷⁾ was born in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts November 9, 1841.⁽⁵⁹³⁸⁾ James died circa 1867.⁽⁵⁹³⁹⁾

923 ii. Charles Fillebrown⁽⁵⁹⁴⁰⁾ was born August 10, 1843.⁽⁵⁹⁴¹⁾ Charles died November 28, 1843 at less than one year of age.⁽⁵⁹⁴²⁾ The birth date was indicated to be August 10, 1843 so Charles was about 3 months old at time of death. However the Granary record indicated the age to have been 4 years old but the later is believed by Charles Jerry Fillebrown to be incorrect in view of the marriage date of the parents. His body was interred December 1843 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.⁽⁵⁹⁴³⁾ Burial was at the Granary Burial Ground in Tomb 84.

924 iii. Henry C. Fillebrown⁽⁵⁹⁴⁴⁾ was born October 3, 1845.⁽⁵⁹⁴⁵⁾ Henry died June 7, 1846 at less than one year of age.⁽⁵⁹⁴⁶⁾ The birth date was indicated to be October 3, 1845 so Charles was about 8 months old at time of death. However the Granary record indicated the age to have been 1 year 8 mpnths old but the later is believed by Charles Jerry Fillebrown to be incorrect in view of the marriage date of the parents. His body was interred June 1846 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.⁽⁵⁹⁴⁷⁾ Burial was at the Granary Burying Ground in Tomb 84.

925 iv. Elizabeth Pelham Fillebrown⁽⁵⁹⁴⁸⁾ was born January 28, 1848.⁽⁵⁹⁴⁹⁾
