James⁸ Fillebrown (James⁷, James⁶, Thomas⁵, Thomas⁴, Thomas³, Humpfrey² Phillibrowne, Robert¹ ffilebrowne)⁽⁴⁰⁰⁷⁾ was born in Easton, Bristol County, Massachusetts June 5, 1786.⁽⁴⁰⁰⁸⁾ Mitchell reported "1806" as the birth date and it clearly without merit. James died July 1, 1850 in Readfield, Kennebec County, Maine, at 64 years of age.⁽⁴⁰⁰⁹⁾ His body was interred circa 1850 in Readfield, Kennebec County, Maine.⁽⁴⁰¹⁰⁾

James married Hannah Bean August 29, 1812.⁽⁴⁰¹¹⁾ Hannah was born circa 1788 in Winthrop (now Readfield), Lincoln County, Massachusetts.⁽⁴⁰¹²⁾ The year may have been 1787. Hannah⁽⁴⁰¹³⁾ was the daughter of Joshua Bean and Mary Bean.

Hannah died July 1, 1876 at 88 years of age.⁽⁴⁰¹⁴⁾ Her body was interred circa 1876 in Readfield, Kennebec County, Maine.⁽⁴⁰¹⁵⁾ Hannah had marriage banns to James Fillebrown published August 13, 1812.⁽⁴⁰¹⁶⁾ When Hannah was age 25 and James Fillebrown was age 27 they became the parents of Mary Jane Fillebrown July 18, 1813 in Readfield, Lincoln County, Massachusetts (now Maine).⁽⁴⁰¹⁷⁾ When Hannah was age 27 and James Fillebrown was age 29 they became the parents of Joshua Bean Fillebrown December 15, 1815 in Readfield, Lincoln County, Massachusetts (now Maine).⁽⁴⁰¹⁸⁾ When Hannah was age 29 and James Fillebrown was age 31 they became the parents of Miranda Fillebrown August 22, 1817 in Readfield, Lincoln County, Massachusetts (now Maine).⁽⁴⁰¹⁹⁾ When Hannah was age 31 and James Fillebrown was age 34 they became the parents of John Bean Fillebrown June 20, 1820 in Readfield, Kennebec County, Maine.⁽⁴⁰²⁰⁾ When Hannah was age 36 and James Fillebrown was age 38 they became the parents of Arabella Fillebrown January 10, 1825 in Readfield, Kennebec County, Maine.⁽⁴⁰²¹⁾ When Hannah was age unknown and James Fillebrown was age unknown they became the parents of Hannah E. John Smith's company of militia, in Col. Ellis Sweet's regiment, raised in Readfield (ME), and served at Wiscasset (Lincoln Co., ME). His father, James drove the baggage wagon." He served until September 28, 1814.

When James was age 29 and Hannah Bean was age 27 they became the parents of Joshua Bean Fillebrown December 15, 1815 in Readfield, Lincoln County, Massachusetts (now Maine).⁽⁴⁰²⁹⁾ When James was age 31 and Hannah Bean was age 29 they became the parents of Miranda Fillebrown August 22, 1817 in Readfield, Lincoln County, Massachusetts (now Maine).⁽⁴⁰³⁰⁾ James was employed at organization unknown as trader in Readfield, Kennebec County, Maine date unknown.⁽⁴⁰³¹⁾ "For years he was a trader at Readfield, where he built and lived in the two-story house standing on the northwest corner of the crossing of the main street, together with the store adjoining, in which he kept for many years a 'general store' and post-office. The reas part of the second story of the house was furnished for use as a public hall with a separate side entrance."

Miranda Fillebrown⁽⁴⁰⁴¹⁾ was born in Readfield, Lincoln County, Massachusetts (now Maine) August 22, 1817.⁽⁴⁰⁴²⁾ Miranda died February 13, 1879 at 61 years of age.⁽⁴⁰⁴³⁾ Miranda married John Lambert October 30, 1838 in Readfield, Kennebec County, Maine.⁽⁴⁰⁴⁴⁾ John⁽⁴⁰⁴⁵⁾ was the son of Davis Lambert and Unknown (________). John died May 6, 1872 in Readfield Corner, Kennebec County, Maine, at 55 years of age.⁽⁴⁰⁴⁶⁾ John was employed at his own business as a Merchant in Readfield Corner, Kennebec County, Maine date unknown.⁽⁴⁰⁴⁷⁾
