Luther married Hannah White September 1, 1819 in Winthrop, Kennebec County, Maine.^(19005) Hannah was born June 10, 1797 in Winthrop, Kennebec County, Maine.^(19006) The date may have been the 18th. Hannah^(19007) was the daughter of Jeremiah White and Unknown Norcross.

Hannah died September 5, 1859 in Wayne, Kennebec County, Maine, at 62 years of age. Her body was interred circa 1859. When Hannah was age 22 and Luther Williams Fillebrown was age 24 they became the parents of Jerusha Fillebrown April 26, 1820 in Readfield, Kennebec County, Maine.^(19008) When Hannah was age 24 and Luther Williams Fillebrown was age 25 they became the parents of Daniel White Fillebrown June 23, 1821.^(19009) When Hannah was age 27 and Luther Williams Fillebrown was age 28 they became the parents of Hannah Eliza Fillebrown August 23, 1824.^(19010) When Hannah was age 29 and Luther Williams Fillebrown was age 31 they became the parents of Luther Williams Fillebrown November 10, 1826 in Readfield, Kennebec County, Maine.^(19011) When Hannah was age 32 and Luther Williams Fillebrown was age 33 they became the parents of Oakes Angier Fillebrown August 23, 1829 in Readfield, Kennebec County, Maine.^(19012) When Hannah was age 34 and Luther Williams Fillebrown was age 36 they became the parents of Hester Ann Fillebrown February 23, 1832 in Readfield, Kennebec County, Maine.^(19013) When Hannah was age 37 and Luther Williams Fillebrown was age 38 they became the parents of Celia A. Fillebrown August 5, 1834 in Readfield, Kennebec County, Maine.^(19014) When Hannah was age 41 and Luther Williams Fillebrown was age 43 they became the parents of Sarah Jane Fillebrown November 23, 1838 in Wayne, Kennebec County, Maine.^(19015) There is more about her family in the "History of Winthrop, Maine" by Everette S. Luther, James Fillebrown's child, resided with James in Readfield, Kennebec County, Maine circa 1808.^(19016) James and Abiah resided there the rest of their lives. The home still stood in 1910 being located near the southwest corner of the crossing of the main street in Readfield, on the south side of the Kent's Hill Road.

Luther served in the military September 12, 1814 in Wiscasset, Lincoln County, Maine.^(19017) He probably served from September 12 to Sept 25, 1814 as a Private in Capt. J. Smith's Company, Lieut. Col. E. Sweet's Regiment of the Massachusetts Militia. The unit was raised in Readfield for service at Wiscasset.

Luther was employed at many places as a Blacksmith in Readfield, Kennebec County, Maine date unknown.^(19018) He also worked in the adjoining town of North Wayne.

When Luther was age 24 and Hannah White was age 22 they became the parents of Jerusha Fillebrown April 26, 1820 in Readfield, Kennebec County, Maine.^(19019) When Luther was age 25 and Hannah White was age 24 they became the parents of Daniel White Fillebrown June 23, 1821.^(19020) When Luther was age 28 and Hannah White was age 27 they became the parents of Hannah Eliza Fillebrown August 23, 1824.^(19021) When Luther was age 31 and Hannah White was age 29 they became the parents of Luther Williams Fillebrown November 10, 1826 in Readfield, Kennebec County, Maine.^(19022) When Luther was age 33 and Hannah White was age 32 they became the parents of Oakes Angier Fillebrown August 23, 1829 in Readfield, Kennebec County, Maine.^(19023) When Luther was age 36 and Hannah White was age 34 they became the parents of Hester Ann Fillebrown February 23, 1832 in Readfield, Kennebec County, Maine.^(19024) When Luther was age 38 and Hannah White was age 37 they became the parents of Celia A. Fillebrown August 5, 1834 in Readfield, Kennebec County, Maine.^(19025) When Luther was age 43 and Hannah White was age 41 they became the parents of Sarah Jane Fillebrown November 23, 1838 in Wayne, Kennebec County, Maine.^(19026) This is a bit of history.^(19027) On account of his military service in the war if 1812, "...he made, on March 3, 1855, when residing in Wayne, ME., application for bounty land, and was allowed for seventeen days of actual service".

Oakes Angier Fillebrown^(19028) was born in Readfield, Kennebec County, Maine August 23, 1829.^(19029) Oakes died July 21, 1878 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, at 48 years of age.^(19030) His body was interred circa 1878 in Wayne, Kennebec County, Maine.^(19031) Oakes married Rebecca Ann Ottowell October 17, 1862.^(19032) Rebecca was born date unknown.^(19033) Rebecca^(19034) was the daughter of William Ottowell and Sarah Delano. Rebecca died circa 1903 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.^(19035) Her body was interred circa 1903. Probably Boston, MA or Wayne, ME

Rebecca, William Ottowell's child, resided with William in New Bedford, Bristol County, Massachusetts before 1862.^(19036)

Oakes served in the military October 27, 1862.^(19037) "He was commissioned Quartermaster of the 24th Maine Regiment of Infantry Volunteers."

He was released from active duty in the 24th Maine Regiment by honorable discharge August 25, 1863.^(19038) He was "...mustered out ... at the expiration of term of service".

+ 582 vi. Hester Ann Fillebrown was born February 23, 1832.

+ 583 vii. Celia A. Fillebrown was born August 5, 1834.

+ 584 viii. Sarah Jane Fillebrown was born November 23, 1838.
